From Jan. 9 through Feb. 29, “Waterfront Glimpses,” an exhibit of photographs by Gene Witkowski, will be on display in the Buffalo Niagara Visitors Center Gallery, located within the Market Arcade Building at 617 Main St. in Buffalo.

Gene Witkowski is a self-taught photographer who grew up in Buffalo’s Old First Ward and is well known for his fine art photographs of the city’s massive grain elevators and historic waterfront. “Waterfront Glimpses” features selections from Witkowski’s ongoing documentation of lake freighters unloading their grain in Buffalo.

Regular gallery hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
