If you have a passion for books, make sure you visit the oldest independent bookstore in Western New York – Talking Leaves. They’ve been around for over 40 years and still have a very reasonable annual membership fee of $10 that gives you 10% off most of their inventory. Make sure you ask their extremely helpful staff for recommendations on their unique selections. Bonus: you can hit up the Lake Effect Diner if you visit the Main Street location, or stop by Caffe Aroma if you visit the Elmwood Avenue location. Try to get all of that on your Kindle or smartphone!
