In my continuing video series of constituent interviews, I was pleased to engage a gentleman from my own hometown of Eden by the name of George Zittel.
George is part of the fourth generation of Zittel family farmers to work the land, with two generations following him in his sons and grandsons. He is also is the President of the Board of the Welch Regional Farm Museum that is being developed in Eden as part of a countywide agritourism project. Our interview about the museum and the importance of agricultural tourism will be posted on Candidate Chat over the weekend.
In the meantime, I challenged George with my favorite question to ask constituents these days….if he were a NYS Assemblyperson for a day, what would he change or enact that would make life in the 147th District better?
