Too many religious nutjobs hold key political positions in the federal, state and local governments. While religion has mostly benefited those in power, it has done irreversible, psychological damage to untold millions. In 2012, if you believe that a white man is coming out of the skies to whisk you off to his magical kingdom in the skies where you would live happily ever after, then you should be submitted to a psychiatric institution. The rest of us logical thinking people have no use for such individuals in positions of power deciding public policies, which directly infringes upon the property and individual rights of millions, thereby making people’s lives more problematic than what it has to be. This includes the Mitt Romneys of the world. As I look at the state of the black community today, and see how many black people are still believing in religious fairytales, I wonder whether it is too late for black people who are an endangered species.

The churches are packed with ignorant souls still believing in angels while their bank accounts are virtually empty, and they have to work like slaves from paycheck to paycheck and still don’t have enough to take care of their families. These same people attribute the evils of the world to one specific entity called Satan (another mythical character) instead of removing the blinders off their eyes, and realizing that we are our own worst enemy. No mythical creature has brought harm upon the earth. We’ve been doing that all by ourselves for thousands of years. We’ve been annihilating each other over territory, resources, and control of nations. All of our actions will eventually result in our final self-annihilation.

We are the Facebook and Twitter generation. Reading a book has been replaced with the iPhone and iPad. In fact, when was the last time you’ve read any book? This is why many Americans are stupid because they don’t study and research, and they believe everything they read and see on their iPhones and on television.

More of the same bullshit is perpetuated every four years at both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Candidates make their fancy speeches and proclaim all sorts of promises to the people when every single President always ends up continuing the policies of his predecessors and of their predecessors while hard-working Americans are left holding the bag of poor economic and social policies stemming from every White House Administration and sitting Congress.

Whether President Obama remains in the White House for another four years or whether Mitt Romney becomes President of the United States, America is still headed for economic and social chaos and ruin. Like the state of California’s economic woes having produced over 12% unemployment rate, many other states have followed suit. In addition, a list of U.S. cities and counties have either gone broke or on the edge of going broke. That list include: 1). Central Falls, RI, 2). Pontiac, MI, 3). Jefferson County, AL, 4). Harrison, NJ, 5). Detroit, MI, 6). Salem, NJ, 7). Riverdale, IL, 8). Stafford County, NH, and 9). Camden, NJ.

I would hate to see what America looks like in the next ten years from now. The United States Government is currently struggling to pay the interests on its debts to those countries that have purchased U.S. debt. Your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will suffer the economic consequences of negligent spending wrought by the federal, state and local governments. While Mitt Romney is partying in Tampa, Florida tonight and preparing for a speech accepting his nomination as presidential candidate, millions of American citizens don’t have jobs or careers making livable wages and are coming up short on their electricity, gas and water bills. Millions more have lost their homes to foreclosure. Millions are underemployed and, therefore, are still struggling to pay their mortgage or rent.

While politicians are asking people to donate to their respective campaigns, people are sleeping under bridges in Tampa, Florida tonight. I need just one wealthy candidate to donate money to my Paypal account, which is under alberta_parish@yahoo.com. This is money they probably would end up throwing away on some frivolous project or at the casinos. It always amazes me how people give their money to those who already have millions of dollars instead of giving their money to people who don’t have anything. Then, you wonder why you’re broke. You’ve been giving your money to the wrong people!

Don’t believe the political hype at the Republican National Convention. The one-party system is already in effect. Too many people are stupid enough to believe that the Republicans stand in opposition to the Democrats and vice versa. The truth is they are all working together to achieve a common goal, which is to keep us enslaved under the watchful eye of Big Government while stealing the wealth of the people. It’s called the New World Order.
