Congressman Brian Higgins (NY-26) announced a new schedule of Congress on Your Corner stops in Western New York for the month of September. Congress on Your Corner provides satellite office hours, at locations throughout the district, for residents to gain assistance with federal issues. “We work hard to be accessible and provide that link between the public and federal agencies,” said Congressman Higgins. “While we can always be reached through telephone, email and at the district offices, this program provides opportunities for residents to interact with the Congressional office at a location closer to home.”  September 11 – 10am to NoonNorthwest Buffalo Community Center155 Lawn AvenueBuffalo September 16 – 11:30am to 1:30pmHarlem Road Community Center4255 Harlem Rd.Amherst  September 17 – 10:00am to NoonJohn Duke Center1201 Hyde Park BoulevardNiagara Falls September 19 – 10:00am – 12pmBelle Center104 Maryland StBuffalo September 24 – 11:00am – 1:00pmHispanics United of Buffalo254 Virginia St.Buffalo September 24 – 10:00am to NoonLaSalle Library8728 Buffalo AvenueNiagara Falls September 25 – 10:30am – NoonValley Community Center93 Leddy StreetBuffalo During Congress on Your Corner, residents have the opportunity to talk directly with someone from Congressman Higgins’ office about issues related to Social Security, the Veteran’s Administration, passport issues, federal student loans, the Small Business Administration, or any other federal matters they may need assistance with. Residents are invited to reach Congressman Higgins’ office anytime by calling 716-852-3501 in Erie County or 716-282-1274 in Niagara County.
