Earlier this evening the two remaining Buffalo mayoral candidates were scheduled to appear at the Judges Row Block Club monthly meeting. Only one candidate was in attendance.
After confirming his appearance, Mayor Byron Brown “no showed” the event; much to the disappointment of those in attendance who were looking forward to the opportunity to hear from both candidates on the issues that matter most to them.
Sergio, who spent an hour and half speaking with residents, issued the following statement.
“It didn’t surprise me at all to see the mayor absent at this event.
“It’s par for the course for a mayor who has also been absent when it comes to dealing with the issues of; education, crime, poverty and unemployment.
“The mayor claims to be engaged with the community and on the streets.
“Where was the mayor tonight? The people at the Judges Row Block Club have a right to know.”
