“I am proud to endorse Mark A. Manna for Amherst Supervisor. He is a fighter for lower taxes and a leader in the fight for responsible development,” Governor Andrew Cuomo said today.
“Mark A Manna has the vision and integrity to lead Amherst. During his time on the Amherst Town Board Manna has worked in a bi-partisan manner to solve the challenges Amherst faces. Manna is straightforward in his dealings with residents and business, tax payers can consider him a true partner in restoring common sense and trust to town government,” said Governor Cuomo.
During his time on the Amherst Town Board Manna has saved taxpayers millions of dollars by self insuring the town employees healthcare plan, as well as keeping residents safe by strengthening the towns sexual predator law. Most importantly Manna has fought to uphold the quality of life for Amherst residents by advocating for the control of commercial development in the Amherst community.
“I am grateful to Governor Cuomo for his support,” said Supervisor candidate Manna, “I look forward to working with the Governor to bring good-paying jobs to Amherst and keeping the University of Buffalo a major economic driver in the community.”
