After a very successful event in 2014, the Buffalo Soup-Fest will be returning to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center for the 5th Annual event.

“It really worked out well,” said Soup-fest organizer, Matt Carlucci about the new venue., “It makes sense that one of Western New York’s biggest winter events should be in the region’s premier event space. The set-up was better, the parking was better, the attendance was better, and the people were happier.”

The 5th Annual Buffalo Soup-Fest takes place on February 15, 2015 from 11am-6pm and will feature over 30 different restaurants serving over 100 different varieties of soup. Admission is $5 and food tickets are sold separately for $1 each. Each serving of soup sells for $2-$4.

The Kid’s Zone, sponsored by Oogie Games also returns with a video game corner, and Artdog Designs will be selling Soup-Fest tees and their own line of Buffalo themed apparel. There will also be live music throughout the day.

The 30 restaurants will serve approximately 100 varieties of soup, and compete for 11 different awards. As in past years, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charitable organizations. This year’s beneficiaries include Friends of the Night People, and the Salvation Army, The B-Team Buffalo, the BuffaloFAMbase, Inc.

The 2015 Buffalo Soup-Fest is sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery, Try-It Distributing, KR Communications, NY Global Marketing Solutions, Renewal by Anderson and Annie’s Hallmark Store.
