May 12, 2015: West Falls, New York – Aurora Waldorf School’s Chef Heather Forrester has been invited to participate in the Mid-Atlantic Food and Wine Festival as an invited Guest Chef May 13-17 in Wilmington and the Brandywine Valley, Delaware.
The Festival expects over 4,000 people from 16 states and 8 countries. The venues celebrate the material culture of the Delaware region, including homes, land and chateaus in Brandywine Valley, and gives guests access to properties ranging from private homes of distinction, to historic venues, to elegant barns, to dramatic public spaces rarely used for events.
Chef Heather will be making dessert for 3 events ranging in price from $350-$500 per plate. One of her desserts, a truffle tasting, will include truffles to-go as favors boxed in special handmade, hand-painted watercolor containers created by Aurora Waldorf School.
