‘Tis the season and since everyone has been busier than a one-armed paper hanger, it seemed appropriate to take a break from my 64 and More posts.
However, my short hiatus doesn’t mean I took a vacation from my project…exactly.
I did spend the last week visiting my son in Isle of Palms, SC, just outside of Charleston. It was a fun-filled family celebration of birthdays and holidays.
I also began my first round of “on the road” interviews—one with a nationally renown “caker” (a baker who specializes in cakes) and one with a gentleman who was the head pilot for American Airlines in DC during 9.11. I look forward to sharing their “64 and More” stories with you in January.
However, now that the world is turning towards a new year, it’s time for me to get back to business.
Tomorrow I will begin posting week 2 of my year-long, “64 and More” interview series. While I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag, I will give you a clue……it’s all about the wonderful world of THE mouse!
Until then, thought I’d share part of a “64 and More” review that was posted on the website. Thanks, Susan Winter for your kind words and support. I’ll do my best to live up to your expectations.
“I know I will enjoy-to-pieces seeing the country through your eyes, Christina. Thank you for sharing your upcoming year of exploring our nation. I’m sure you’ll give Charles Kuralt a run for his money. You continue to be a source of delight to so many. Be safe. Be Christina…and everybody wins!
