Ed Horvath is about to add a new title to his life resume—that of author. This accomplished man is currently working on a memoir about
his deployment to Iraq.

He states that his purpose in putting words to paper is not to recreate the ravages of war, or even to become a best-selling author. Rather, in his unique way, Ed Horvath describes his need to share his medical battle experiences as his way of reminding others that war is also about the people behind the artillery and the dramatic news footage—people doing good things in bad situations.
