Enduring multiple cancers as a child not only left Kathryn Gallant with an amputated leg, a knee replacement, and three lung surgeries, the associated treatments weakened her heart, leaving Kathryn permanently impacted…but not disabled.

Growing up, this plucky woman graduated from one of the most respected colleges in America and began carving out a career in marketing with little experience, a can-do attitude and a true passion for research.
