Western New Yorkers rally as a part of statewide set of actions

Buffalo, N.Y. – Dozens of community members and community groups including 350.org, Climate Justice Coalition of Western New York, Food and Water Watch, NYPIRG, PUSH Buffalo, Sierra Club, Western New York Peace Center, Western New York Environmental Alliance, and dozens of Western New Yorkers are set to rally outside Senator Schumer’s local Buffalo office on Wednesday to thank him for opposing much of Trump’s agenda and calling for his continued leadership in the Senate.

As the Senate Majority Leader, Senator Schumer represents New Yorkers for progress and is holding the Democratic caucus together to stand strong against Trump’s catastrophic Cabinet appointments and his climate-destroying proposals. Senator Schumer has already stated that nominees like Scott Pruitt are “out of touch with the American people – and with reality”[1] and local community members are hoping he can continue showing bold leadership against Trump’s agenda.

What: Rally to Resist Trump’s Agenda

When: Thursday, February 2nd, 12:00PM
