The churches in East Buffalo’s Polonia are beautiful…mix in an afternoon of some classical music, and these sacred spaces truly come ALIVE. That was what happened on Sunday at Saint John Kanty Church. The Ars Nova Chamber Orchestra filled this historic sacred space with glorious sound. You couldn’t help but feel lifted by the music coupled with grand interior of the church.

The neighborhood churches need more of these types of events. Not only does a concert like this attract supporters of the neighborhood churches, it bring others who are experiencing them for the first time. This helps creates awareness about them and how important they still are to the cultural fabric of city.

The concert was part of an ongoing series of events surround Saint John Kanty’s 125th Anniversary year.
