We’ve lobbied in Albany at the Day of Action, and we’ve rallied in DC. We’ve marched, we’ve phone banked, we’ve learned, and we’ve written countless postcards and letters. We need to keep that up in the fight for our healthcare because the time for action is now.

Today, the Senate voted to move forward with an effort to pass Trumpcare, which would repeal Obamacare and “defund” Planned Parenthood. The move came despite millions of people across the country expressing opposition and outrage at the various pieces of legislation that have been proposed—which would all leave tens of millions uninsured, charge women more for less insurance coverage, and prevent millions of people with Medicaid coverage from coming to Planned Parenthood health centers for basic, preventive care.

Please join PPCWNY for a demonstration against this vote, and stand with us firmly united against efforts to strip healthcare from millions.

Meet us at the intersection of Delaware Ave and Nottingham Terrace (map here) for a honk and wave from 4:30 to 5:30pm.

Wear PP gear, if you have it. Signs and a limited number of pink shirts will be available for you to use.
