We got a chance to catch up with Vice President Joe Biden before his speech at UB to discuss the suspicious packages sent to his home and why he’s in Western New York campaigning for Nate McMurray in #NY27
“It’s not America,” Biden said. “It’s not who we are.”
He talked about how he and the late-Sen. John McCain “argued like hell” but were “best friends.” Their disagreements were “never personal,” he said.
Biden also questioned “this phony nationalism” and the “us-against-the-world” thinking prevalent in the current political discourse without mentioning President Trump by name.
