Restoration notes:

This restoration project was initiated last year by Lightstorm (lei), James Cameron’s production company, DMG Entertainment and Studiocanal.

The original 35mm negative was scanned and then restored in 4k at deluxe la, under the supervision of Geoff Burdick, Lightstorm. The film was then calibrated in 4k by skip, James Cameron’s colorist, at Technicolor Hollywood, with a selection of the best 35mm prints from the film’s initial release.

About the film:

It has been 10 years since the events of Terminator. Sarah Connor’s (Linda Hamilton) ordeal is only just beginning as she struggles to protect her son John, the future leader of the human resistance against the machines, from a new Terminator (Robert Patrick), sent back in time to eliminate John Connor while he’s still a child.

Sarah and John don’t have to face this terrifying threat alone however. The human resistance have managed to send them an ally (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a warrior from the future ordered to protect John Connor at any cost.

The battle for tomorrow has begun….

This special evening will feature music from Drea dNur (Drea d’Nur), dance from Differential Flava Crew of Verve Dance Studio, poetry from Olga Karman and Carl Dennis, Sam Magavern on One Nation Under a Groove, and participatory art making.

We’re coming together to ask, “How can democracy be more beautiful?” and “how can beauty be more democratic?” This evening of performance will reflect on these questions, and celebrate the work and wins of PPG’s partners over the last decade!

This event is free and open to the public.

For $35, Vanesaa will show you how to create a work of art by wood burning and a little bit of painting. No artistic experience is necessary!

We will provide beer, wine and some snacks. We will also provide all the materials needed to make the work of art.

More about the project:
MUSEjar Art Supply Store will host TOPOGRAPHIC MIXED MEDIA GREAT LAKES craft class at the Project 308 Gallery – Topography is the study of the shape and features of the surface of the earth. We will study Lake Erie and translate the topographical map into a really awesome abstract painting on wood. Different depths will represent different colors (of your choice). Our project will begin by outlining the lake and the different depths with a wood burner, to create a relief. After that, we will pick our colors and paint!
