M&T Bank ranks No. 1 in SBA 7(a) lending across its footprint
M&T Bank approved 2,975 SBA 7(a) loans totaling $326.44 million in fiscal 2026, ranking No. 1 by loan count across its footprint and No. 5 nationally, the bank said. Locally the Buffalo/Rochester district accounted for 226 approvals totaling $28.8 million.
