Woman accused of decapitating lover looking for a new lawyer after courtroom assault

Attorney Quinn Jolly has withdrawn as the legal representative for his client, 25-year-old Taylor Schabusiness, after she attacked him in a Wisconsin courtroom for seeking a delay in her trial for allegedly decapitating her lover.

On Feb 14, L Jolly addressed the judge to make a motion to delay the trial related to the death of Shad Thyrion during what is described as “meth-fueled sex” in 2022 that ended with his alleged decapitation at the hands of Schabusiness.

This legal maneuver apparently infuriated his client so much that she physically assaulted him.

According to a report from Law & Crime’s Matt Naham, Jolly has notified the court he is withdrawing as her attorney.

The report states, “The defense lawyer’s motion to withdraw was formally accepted on Monday, so Schabusiness will need to find herself some new legal representation amid renewed questions surrounding her competency to stand trial in the coming months.”

Schabusiness’ new attorney will have their work cut out for them with Law & Crime reporting that she “allegedly admitted she went ‘crazy’ during meth-fueled sex and choked Thyrion to death with the chain that was around his neck.”

She also reportedly told investigators, “have fun trying to find all of the organs” at the scene of the crime.

Trump’s golf obsession could smash Obama’s 8-year tally in just one term

President Donald Trump hit the greens again this week on the taxpayers' dime as a new report found he visited his golf clubs a staggering 88 times in 2025, more than a quarter of the days he's spent in the White House.

Trump, an avid golfer, didn't waste a second ringing in 2026 before swinging his clubs at Trump International Golf Club Palm Beach, according to a photo posted Thursday by his videographer, Michael Solakiewicz. The photo was flagged Friday in a Daily Beast article that found the president hit the links 88 times.

"It’s also a day more than Trump spent playing golf in 2017, the first year of his first term, and the most in any year he’s otherwise sat in the Oval Office," the report said.

Trump's 2025 golf outings cost taxpayers a cool $110.6 million, according to the Trump Golf Tracker, which monitors presidential motorcade sightings at his clubs. December and New Year's Day tacked on another $14 million to that tab.

If Trump continues on his pace, he’ll likely top former President Barack Obama's eight-year total of 333 rounds of golf in just his second term alone, the report said.

The White House pushed back, arguing that Trump is "working 24/7 to Make America Great Again and make the world a safer place."

"Nobody works harder than President Trump who has delivered a record number of historic achievements in only a year," a spokesperson for the White House told the Beast.

Democratic President Woodrow Wilson holds the all-time record for visits to the greens. From 1913 to 1919, Wilson played nearly 1,200 rounds of golf, according to The Washington Post.

‘He knows’: Psychologist reveals why Trump lashes out at reports about his health

A prominent psychologist revealed on Sunday some of the reasons why President Donald Trump rages at reports of his failing physical and mental health.

Trump has recently lashed out at The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times for reporting on his health. After The Journal published its report, Trump posted on Truth Social that he "aced" multiple cognitive exams. He has also called the NYT the "enemy of the people" and called for the outlet to be investigated for reporting on his health.

Dr. John Gartner, a psychologist and former professor, discussed why Trump has such extreme reactions to these reports on a new episode of "The Daily Beast Podcast."

"No story enrages Donald Trump more than the stories about his physical and cognitive health," Gartner said. "And there's a reason for that. One, he knows that he's covering something up, but two, as a malignant narcissist, the one thing you need to project is strength. It's okay to be hated and feared, but you have to appear strong. And so this is really it."

"Donald Trump's Achilles heel is his brain and now, I guess, a whole bunch of other organs," he continued. "His ankles, his heart, his his hands. His psychomotor performance is getting worse."

Gartner noted Trump's difficulty using the right side of his body, like when he was unable to perform a coinflip during the Army and Navy game, and his struggle saluting with his right hand. Gartner has also noted the right side of Trump's face drooping when he's fallen asleep, a sign that he may have recently had a stroke.

"He knows it's showing his Achilles heel and yet he can't stop the behavior because it's involuntary," Gartner said.
