Tucker Carlson airs Jan. 6 footage, downplays violence at the US Capitol

Tucker Carlson repeated some well-worn and misleading claims about what happened at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. It wasn’t a peaceful protest. Protesters weren’t right that the 2020 election was stolen. And Capitol Police did not act as tour guides.
