Attorney General Merrick Garland announced Wednesday the Justice Department’s findings from its investigation into the Louisville Metro Police Department and Louisville Metro government. The Justice Department launched the investigation in April 2021, about a year after Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old Black woman, was shot and killed by Louisville police.
