Red light on ‘greenwashing’? US regulatory agency takes fresh look at deceptive climate claims

To curb “greenwashing,” or false marketing about eco-friendliness, the Federal Trade Commission is taking a fresh look at its “Green Guides.” The guidelines aim to keep companies from making deceptive climate claims.
