Meanwhile, challenger Robert F. Kennedy Jr., after not making it to the CNN debate stage, will respond to the questions on X.
Ahead of the debate, Trump’s daughter-in-law and RNC co-chair Lara Trump told NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo she believed the debate was “obviously designed to help Joe Biden.” Meanwhile, California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom, in a Spin Room interview, told NewsNation’s Kellie Meyer the president had the party’s full support.
