UFC fight coming to White House in 2026, Dana White says

(NewsNation) — An Ultimate Fighting Championship match is coming to the White House next summer, according to the league’s CEO, Dana White.

White is set to meet with President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka in Washington, D.C., later this month to discuss the logistics of hosting a fight on the White House grounds as part of Independence Day celebrations, according to the Associated Press.

In July, Trump suggested the event could be a full “championship fight” and potentially host up to 25,000 spectators.

“It’s absolutely going to happen,” White told the Associated Press. “Think about that, the 250th birthday of the United States of America, the UFC will be on the White House south lawn live on CBS.”

White’s comments come days after it was announced that Paramount will become the new streaming home for UFC in 2026, as part of a new seven-year deal. The deal followed an $8 billion merger between Paramount and Skydance.

Trump and White have known each other for more than 20 years. White publicly backed Trump during his election bids, and Trump has attended a number of UFC events in recent years, including a UFC championship fight in New Jersey in June.
