Governor Hochul Announces $300 Million Investment in SUNY at Stony Brook’s Quantum Research Hub

September 17, 2025 – Stony Brook, NY – Governor Kathy Hochul today announced $300 million to establish the Quantum Research and Innovation Hub at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, further catapulting New York’s national leadership in groundbreaking research that saves lives, grows the economy and improves national security.
