Tage Thompson and Peyton Krebs scored two in response to tie the game. Kicking off the second period, Zach Benson scored a third off a pass from Ryan McLeod. The Panthers soon tied it up again on the power play. In the third, Jason Zucker scored on the power play to retake the lead. Josh Doan closed the game with a goal off a pass from Krebs. Krebs had one goal and two assists on the night. Goaltender Alex Lyon made 38 saves in the matchup.
