Erie County Joins Partners to Announce Back-to-School Vaccine Clinics


Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz joins ECDOH Commissioner Dr. Gale Burstein, Buffalo Public Schools Chief of Student Support Services Dr. Sharon Brown, UB School of Nursing Dean Dr. Annette Wysocki, and Buffalo Public Schools Director of Social Emotional and Wellness Services Dr. Mai Nguyen to announce a series of free back-to-school vaccine clinics for BPS students to help them meet state immunization requirements and begin the school year healthy, protected and ready to learn.

Vaccines offered include all required school immunizations: DTap, DTP, Tdap, Td; Tdap; Polio; MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Meningococcal, Hib, and PCV (pneumococcal). Students must be up to date on vaccines by September 17 to remain in school.
