Governor Kathy Hochul urged the EPA to accelerate testing after radioactive contamination was discovered across Niagara and Erie counties. The state and federal agencies planned a 5 p.m. community briefing at the Niagara Falls Convention Center; the EPA has offered relocation to four families so far.

The Governor's Office says Gov. Kathy Hochul will hold a roundtable in Erie County on data centers at about 12:30 p.m.; the event will be livestreamed and satellite coordinates were provided for broadcasters.
