UPDATE: “No Terrorist Connection to Explosion At Rainbow Bridge”

The Rainbow Bridge between the United States and Canada is closed after an incident involving a vehicle attempting to enter the U.S., according to the City of Niagara Falls.

“The Rainbow Bridge is closed until further notice,” the City of Niagara Falls said. “There has been an incident involving a vehicle coming into the United States. Federal authorities are currently investigating the situation.”

UPDATE: As of 5:30pm International Bridges (with the exception of the Rainbow Bridge) are back open

UPDATE: “Explosion was not an act of terrorism” – Gov. Hochul

Update: The Peace Bridge, Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, Whirlpool Bridge, and Rainbow Bridge are all closed in both directions, according to the general manager of the Peace Bridge, Ron Reinas.
