The Buffalo Common Council introduced and adopted their amendments to the Mayor’s Recommended 2012-2013 Capital Improvement Program (“CIP”) and Budget.

After weeks of hearings, workshops and review, the Council voted unanimously to amend the Mayor’s Recommended 2012-2013 CIP and Budget.

Council President and Lovejoy District Council Member Richard A. Fontana said, “This year’s amended Capital Improvement Plan and Budget will be a great benefit to the residents of the City of Buffalo while addressing the various infrastructure needs of the City.”

Majority Leader and Masten District Council Member Demone A. Smith said, “The adopted budget contains important infrastructure projects in each of the Council Districts throughout the City.”

The 2013 Capital Improvement Program and Budget as adopted by the Common Council will now be returned to the Mayor for final consideration.
