NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Two teens were arraigned Tuesday morning, one for allegedly murdering five-year-old Isabella Tennant and the other for allegedly helping him put her body into a garbage can.

John Robert Freeman, 17, is charged with second degree murder.

Tyler Scott Best, 18, is charged with tampering with evidence. Police say Best was not involved in Isabella’s death, but did help Freeman move her body to a garbage can. Police also say Best contacted them to tell them where to find Tennant’s body.

Tennant was reported missing by her great-grandmother early Monday morning. Tennant was staying at her great-grandmother’s home on 6th Street in Niagara Falls.

Isabella’s body was found a few hours later in a garbage can located in an alley just a couple of blocks from her great-grandmother’s house.
