November 28 – Sat 10am – 12pm , (Formerly known as Squaw Island) – Meet at North Parking Lot.  Come join Buffalo Audubon Naturalist Tom Kerr for a beginner’s lesson on birdwatching on the Niagara River.  Unity Island is one of the best places in Buffalo to see birds of all kinds!  With all the ducks and gulls arriving on the river for the winter, late fall is one of the best times to get into birding.  We’ll learn how to use binoculars and identify birds using field marks, and get you started on your life list! Binoculars are available.  All ages are welcome. Pre-registration is required. Donations Accepted.
