The Queen City Roller Girls will see the return of their Travel B Team, and a debut of the Subzero Sirens, this Saturday at Riverworks as they take on the Hammer City Harlots from Hamilton, On (Canada). This Battle of the QEW will feature former and future Lake Effect Furies who are looking to crush their cross border opponents. Formerly the B Lo Zero’s, QCRG retired their travel B Team for the 2015 season to focus on their move to Riverworks. Settled in, these girls are now hungry to get back on the track and represent Buffalo.

Doors will open at 1:00pm on Saturday January 23rd at Riverworks with first whistle at 2pm.

About the Queen City Roller Girls

Founded in 2006, the Queen City Roller Girls are Western New York’s premier Women’s Flat Track roller derby league. The skater owned and operated league consists of three home teams and a travel team representing the Buffalo area in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) the Lake Effect Furies, a travel B Team and a Jr. League. Since its inception, the mission of Queen City Roller Girls has always been to provide opportunities for athleticism, camaraderie, and self-expression. Founded and supported entirely through the efforts of non-paid skaters, officials, and volunteers, QCRG has grown to over 150 members and continues to grow throughout the Buffalo-Niagara Region.
