The German-American Musicians Present
Wurstfest! The Wurst Party in Buffalo!
Sunday, June 26. 1-8pm
Buffalo River Fest Park, Ohio Street
The Wurst party in Buffalo is back! The German-American Musicians host the annual Wurstfest, a salute to sausage, beer and Gemütlichkeit on Sunday, June 26th from 1-8 pm at Buffalo River Fest Park. Join us and special guests Die Auslanders for an afternoon of the best “wurst” in Buffalo.
Warsteiner will be on hand with a very special “Braumeister Brew” imported directly from Germany. This Red Bock Beer is a limited batch beer, not available commercially, and not to be missed. Warsteiner will also be presenting the second annual Stein Hoist championship, and will be providing one of a kind prizes for the winners. Speaking of prizes, don’t forget to come dressed to impress! Bavarian Specialties, LLC is providing a $300 gift certificate to the Best Dressed Bavarian! You could win a new Dirndl or a pair of Lederhosen!
After Die Auslanders warm up the crowd, a special presentation of der Meister Schuss by our friends at Jagermeister will get the party rolling for The German-American Musicians, Buffalo’s BIG German band! Enjoy our fun filled show and don’t miss the special keg-tapping ceremony brought to you by Gene McCarthy’s Old First Ward Brewing Company.
Visit the Marktplatz for snacks like pretzels, nuts and, of course, Wurst! Pick up authentic German steins, souvenir mugs, and clothing from a variety of vendors, all while enjoying the beautiful views of Buffalo’s unique grain elevators and the Buffalo River. Find us on Facebook or visit www.buffalowurstfest.com for all the info!
