Sahlen's Hot Dogs Now Available to Buffalo Expat's Down South

Friends and Family no longer need to travel with frozen Hotdogs!

Sahlen’s is excited to announce the long-awaited expansion of its signature smokehouse hot dogs to Publix Super Markets in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. Sahlen’s hot dogs will be introduced to all 1,131 Publix Stores on November 11, including 772 locations in Florida — widely populated with expats and Western New York natives. Publix Super Markets is one of the largest retail chains in the southeast and will be introducing Sahlen’s hot dogs to many new cities with this expansion. “We are so excited to finally be able to bring our signature smokehouse hot dogs to Publix”, says Mark Battistoni, Sahlen’s vice president of sales and marketing. “There has been a high demand for our hot dogs to expand to the southeast for some time and we are happy to finally be able to welcome a local favorite to more regions.” Sahlen’s smokehouse hot dogs will include the tender casing — perfect for grilling — in both pork/beef option and a newly reformulated all-beef option in 1 lb. packages. Sahlen’s hot dogs packaging will also feature the new “Get Grillin’” logo that will reach Publix in mid-November. With many Western New Yorkers relocating, especially those heading to Florida for the winter months, the demand for Sahlen’s hot dogs has only continued to increase.
