For more than sixteen years, I have taught students at every socio-economic level in rural, suburban, and urban settings. I am currently a Reading Teacher at the Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District where I am a member of NYSUT (New York State United Teachers).
I believe that middle and working class families form the backbone of our community, and that we have been carrying more than our fair share of economic burdens in recent years. While wealthy citizens accumulate more wealth and political power, the middle class is being crushed and squeezed for every penny. This is why I am running for Erie County Legislature. When elected, I will work hard for all of my constituents — not just the wealthy and powerful.
