Meet the WNY ‘Genital Gestapo’

If you ever thought that here in “libtard” New York State, we wouldn’t have to worry much about things like banning books, harassing people at drag time story hours or transgender bathroom issues, you were dead wrong.

Longing for the days of COVID restrictions, vaccine requirements and mask mandates, WNY “Faketriots” was briefly left without a culture war. But alas, they have found their latest cause du jour and have their mark set on everything from transgender policies of local governments to banning books in public school libraries, to general threats to the broader trans and LGBTQ community across Erie County.

While it might have some new faces, the latest ‘britches brigade’ parading around Erie County still remains a cross-section of the same stale ‘patriot warriors’ of ole, but with a few fresh faces.

All of these individuals and groups claim they are doing it for the children. But let’s be clear, they are only in it for themselves and their radical conservative agendas.

Here’s a quick breakdown of who is behind the ‘WNY Genital Gestapo’:

Moms for Liberty of Erie County

Moms for Liberty is a controversial organization formed in 2020 promoting anti-mask and anti-vaccine sentiments and opposing public health measures aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19.

Their latest crusade here in Erie County is LQBTQ and trans books in public school libraries. Moms for Liberty has been involved in efforts to challenge the use of certain books in public school curriculums, such as books that contain explicit language or sexual content, or books that promote critical race theory or other controversial ideas.

They even have a local event coming up aimed at that goal:

The local Erie County chapter of the “Klanned Karenhood’ is run by two former school board candidates who got destroyed in their respective 2022 school board races last year, mostly due to their close relationship and associations with WNY Patriot groups including Bobby Dinero, who’s racist and diabolical antics are well documented across Western New York.

The group hides behind the idea that it is some grassroots organization of “mama bears’ fighting for parental rights, but it’s really just another GOP astroturf organization widely supported by election deniers, J6 insurrectionists and MAGA extremists.

With over 200 chapters, Moms for Liberty has become the largest driver of the nationwide book banning crusade, which has led to harassment and threats against public school teacherslibrarians, and education officials. Moms for Liberty chapters have challenged Martin Luther King Jr. and the March to Washington because of “photographs of political violence” and Ruby Bridges Goes to School because of “racist remarks,” among other objections. Moms for Liberty is also a vocally anti-LGBTQ organization and has advocated for trans bathroom bans in public schools
Media Matters has also uncovered evidence that Moms for Liberty chapters “have teamed up” with Book Look and Book Looks, which appear to be distinct entities that are crowdsourcing parents’ book reviews and using them as justification for literature bans in public schools. And while the two organizations are separate, they use nearly the same book rating system, have overlapping book reviews, and operate in a seemingly identical manner.

Constitutional Coalition of NYS

Yes. The organization that hides behind its constitutional name could actually care less about your rights. Unless it’s the 2nd one.

The Financial Guys

Leaving no culture war on the table, these self-proclaimed financial ‘experts’ (and we use that term VERY loosely) rarely discuss financial matters. They are the driving force behind the faux outrage amongst conservatives about everything from books to bathrooms and gender identity in sports.

Their social media and weekly podcasts are continuously filled with misinformation, conjecture and hate of people who are different from them.

In one recent episode, co-hosts Mike Sperrazza and Stefan Mychajliw laugh and call those who support the transgender community “mentally ill” and “disgusting animals”

Stefan Mychajliw

In his desperate attempt at relevancy since being getting crushed in his race for Hamburg Town Supervisor, Stefan has recently turned his recent ad hominem attacks back onto Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and Erie County’s pro-trans policy which the county is required to maintain:

The Orchard Park Tax Payers Association

Closely aligning themselves with all of the groups and people mentioned above, Katherine Ibarra and Steven Barlette are again attempting to run for Orchard Park School Board after getting destroyed in 2022 over their anti-COVID policies.

This year, while trying to distance themselves from the organizations and to appear more ‘moderate’ in approach and tone, they added Bobby Wellington to their slate of 2023 candidates.
However, that moderate approach seems to have been short-lived.

In recent weeks, they have all publicly re-immersed themselves with the same people and organizations they did in 2022. This time adding M4L to the mix:

Meanwhile, Wellington is on social media claiming LGBTQ kids are “mentally ill”:

Deeply connected to this slate of candidates is a new not-for-profit organization called the OP Taxpayers Association. The problem is there is no official nonprofit status for this group in New York State.

Their website includes an Etsy store that is currently selling merchandise and fundraising for the endorsed slate of candidates above, which depending on what type of nonprofit they are claiming to be today could violate state election law.

Our attempts to find out who is considered leadership of the organization are have gone unanswered but according to the name on this recent meeting announcement, Lynn Moeller is the President of the OP Taxpayer Organization.

Much more on this Orchard Park front group in the weeks ahead but for today, we will leave you with the story of how kids in Orchard Park are having to fight back against these school board candidates claiming to be “for the children”.

Disbelief as White House suggests Susie Wiles may not have known she was on record

Despite having about a year's worth of interviews — 11 to be exact — for an in-depth Vanity Fair story, White House insiders scrambled on Tuesday, suggesting to CNN that President Donald Trump's Chief of Staff Susie Wiles may not have known she was on the record.

The bombshell story prompted a White House meltdown and plenty of chatter in Washington, D.C.

"But obviously this has really left the White House and not just the White House, but Trump world as a whole in a state of shock," CNN senior White House correspondent Kristen Holmes said. "I cannot tell you how many conspiracy theories I've heard about how this interview got published, whether it was the idea that she thought she was talking off the record, whether it was the idea that she was sitting for some kind of other interview that wasn't going to be published immediately, that it has something to do with the 2028 campaign, because Susie Wiles is a calculated and political figure. Everything she does has meaning."

The interview was an unusual move for Wiles, who generally has stood guard behind the scenes.

"She is not somebody who seeks the limelight," Holmes added. "She doesn't get out there in the press and do interviews. So the fact that she did this to so many people who are close to President Trump say that it must mean something. Now, of course, again, Wiles has said that that's not the case, that it was just taken out of context. There was an omission in much of what she said. But again, this has caused quite a stir here at the White House."

Social media users responded to the story and Wiles' accusations that she might not have known the interviews were to be included in the story.

"Susie Wiles: What’s that recorder for? Reporter: Recording your answers. Susie Wiles: Right, like I’m going to say anything that’ll come back to bite me in the a--. Ha!" Chris Robinson, former referee and manager, wrote on X.

"Why would a chief of staff agree to an interview that she may now be saying she thought was off the record???. Under those circumstances it's not an 'interview,'" Duff Montgomerie, who described himself as a retired public servant, wrote on X.

"If you give multiple interviews to Vanity Fair and don’t know whether or not you are on or off the record - then you are not qualified to be a chief of staff. Speaking as a chief of staff," Dj Omega Mvp wrote on X.

"Translation: CNN can't believe Wiles would be that dumb," college instructor Anthony M. Hopper wrote on X.

"Haha! So now Wiles & the White House want to follow the rules," social worker and gerontologist Dolly Madison wrote on X.

"She’s been around long enough," retired attorney and professor Howell Ellerman wrote on X.
