Thursday September 21st – Rumpke Mountain Boys w/ PA Line
Doors: 8:00pm, Show: 9:00pm – Tickets: $10 ADV/$12 DOS – Ages: 18+
Rumpke Mountain Boys: The Rumpke Mountain Boys combine signature vocals, a unique command of string instruments (acoustic
guitar, mandolin, upright bass and banjo) and dynamic special effects into a singular musical experience.
An emotion filled musical stream of consciousness with no setlist, minimal structure, and intuitive
improvisational flow. In this way, they summon the energy of the crowd as their guide in linking just the
right music to precise moments in time.
Grateful Dead Hour host David Gans proclaimed, “One of the things I love about the Rumpke Mountain
Boys is that there’s a fundamental honesty in their presentation. This is something they share with my other heroes, Donna the Buffalo and the Grateful Dead. They don’t make set lists ahead of time, they don’t rehearse their songs to a fare-thee-well– they perform in real time. All four of them write, which is very important, and they draw songs from a tremendous variety of sources… being a musician is a life long learning experience, if you’re doing it right, and they are.”
The sound of PA Line proves that in the current musical world of repetition and catchy leads, music can still hit you in the heart. By combining dedication and raw talent, Trever Stribing (lead vocal/guitar/percussion) ,Lucas Honig (vocal/Bass) , and Alyssa Wainwright (violin/vocals) have made a unique brand of alternative folk music influenced by artists ranging from Mumford and sons to Sly & the Family Stone.
Their high energy creations have received recognition around the country in New York, Ohio, California, and Florida, just to name a few. As well as a tour in the UK, with a summer 2017 return tour.
They currently have 2 albums out, “Liar” and “Breathe” ,and are in the works to start recording for a third. Having been playing music together for almost a decade, Their parallel drive and catchy rhythms are something you’ll never forget.
