I am hosting a DIY workshop at the Project 308 Gallery with the help of Vanessa from MuseJar to raise money for my non for profit work- Arts Services Initiative (ASI) on Thursday, October 5th, 6:30-8:30pm.
For $35, Vanesaa will show you how to create a work of art by wood burning and a little bit of painting. No artistic experience is necessary!
We will provide beer, wine and some snacks. We will also provide all the materials needed to make the work of art.
More about the project:
MUSEjar Art Supply Store will host TOPOGRAPHIC MIXED MEDIA GREAT LAKES craft class at the Project 308 Gallery – Topography is the study of the shape and features of the surface of the earth. We will study Lake Erie and translate the topographical map into a really awesome abstract painting on wood. Different depths will represent different colors (of your choice). Our project will begin by outlining the lake and the different depths with a wood burner, to create a relief. After that, we will pick our colors and paint!
There is a limit for how many people we can host so please let me know if you are definitely attending by commenting in the event page, messaging me or text me at 716-523-0068. I need all RSVPs by Sept. 26th!
The price of the event will cover the cost for materials, support Vanessa at MuseJar and support ASI! Thank you for your support!
