Kathy Weppner and a Penis Walk into an Elevator…

Saying Congressional candidate and crazy ass tea bagger “Kathy from Williamsville” Weppner, running against Rep. Brian Higgins in November, is loose with facts is the understatement of this early political season.

Weppner recently responded to the Buffalo News article that all but confirmed she is unfit and unqualified to serve public office.

I find it interesting that I spent over 700 hours on the radio and you have focused on a fifteen minute interview on a blog show that I did not have documents in front of me for.

Just in case there is any doubt how much of an absolute lunatic this Weppner woman really is,  WNYmedia has obtained much of her audio archive from WBEN and will be sharing some of our favorite highlights over the next 8 months.

In our first golden moment, Weppner’s claims about contraception, reproductive rights,  Sandra Fluke and the Law Students for Reproductive Justice controversy are laughable nonsense.

At one point (see audio below) and without any proof or knowledge of its authenticity, Weppner claims the LSRJ must of came to Medaille College for the sole purpose of hosting a sex toy party at her child’s dormitory while providing an R.A. with a “penis costume”.

Here are some highlights from March 3rd, 2012 and Kathy’s ongoing war against women’s rights:

Among many other things, the LSRJ does hold an “annual Sex Toy Party fundraiser” but they do not have a chapter at Medaille College or any college in the Buffalo area.

Law Students for Reproductive Justice (LSRJ) is a student-led, student-driven national non-profit network of law students and lawyers committed to fostering the next wave of legal experts for the reproductive justice movement…. Reproductive justice connotes collective efforts to address and overcome the roots of reproductive oppression, while constructing legally tenable, realistically accessible avenues for informed, consensual, unobstructed decision making about education, sex, contraception, sterilization, abortion, procreation, birth, and parenting.

NYU LSRJ holds many events throughout the year, including:

  • Speaker series about a variety of reproductive justice issues

  • Careers in Choice brownbag lunches/networking opportunities

  • Escorting at local Planned Parenthood clinics

  • Condoms & Kisses, which offers safe sex supplies

  • Events co-hosted with the Med Students for Choice from schools in New York City

  • Annual Sex Toy Party, co-sponsored with OUTLaw

And for the record:

Ella is not to be used as a regular form of daily, weekly, or monthly birth control, and SHOULD NOT BE USED TO TERMINATE AN EXISTING PREGNANCY.

‘Accountability is here’: Ex-prosecutor predicts conviction after Trump hush money trial

Donald Trump is likely going to be convicted in the hush money cover-up case he's currently facing, but the real punishment is being forced to be a criminal defendant, a former prosecutor said Sunday.

Legal analyst and former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti appeared on MSNBC's Alex Witt Reports, where he was asked about whether or not Trump will be held accountable for any potential wrongdoing.

"Big picture, Renato, do you think some sense of accountability is near for Donald Trump, given everything in his legal sphere that is going on?" the host asked.

"I personally think some measure of accountability is here for Donald Trump," he responded, noting that the New York trial is likely the only one to take place before the upcoming election. "I do not think he wants to be sitting in a cold courtroom. I do not think he is enjoying this experience. I think he feels humiliated. He is being ordered around by a judge referring to him as Mr. Trump and telling him what to do. I think there is already some measure of accountability."

That being said, however, Mariotti also made a prediction about the case's conclusion.

"Do I think there is likely a conviction here? Yes, I do. Obviously that is not the only piece of this that I think has an impact on Donald trump."
