Villa Maria College to Host its First Athletics Open House

Aspiring Student-Athletes are Invited to Campus

 on February 20, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Buffalo, NY – Villa Maria College will host its first Athletics Open House on Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Aspiring student-athletes are invited to spend the afternoon on Villa’s campus, meeting our teams’ coaches, touring the recently-updated athletic facilities and getting a taste for life at Villa. The day will conclude at 3 p.m. in Villa’s Athletic Center; all guests are invited to join the Villa Community for the men’s last basketball game of the season.

“Not only is an open house a great way to learn about a school’s academic and athletic programs, it’s also a great way to see if you can envision yourself spending the next few years of your life on this campus,” said Kevin Donovan, Villa’s Director of Enrollment Management. “Because this open house will focus on our athletics programs, we strongly encourage anyone considering becoming a student-athlete to stop by.”

Villa Maria College is currently recruiting for student-athletes to join the following athletic programs:

  • Men’s and Women’s Basketball
  • Men’s and Women’s Soccer
  • Men’s and Women’s Cross Country
  • Men’s and Women’s Swimming
  • Men’s Golf
  • Women’s Bowling

To register to attend the open house, or for more information, please visit or call 716.961.1870.
