Stonewall Democrats of WNY is- again- condemning the actions of Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard.
“We commend Jacqueline Kretzmon, former employee of the Erie County Holding Center, for her bravery in coming forward and speaking out against sexual harassment and employment discrimination in Sheriff Howard’s administration,” said Bryan Ball, president of SDWNY. “The abuse suffered by Ms. Kretzmon is reprehensible and intolerable, and Stonewall Democrats of WNY stands with her–and all victims of anti-LGBTQ discrimination– and we will work for justice, and an Erie County Sheriff’s department where no employee faces anti-LGBTQ discrimination, sexual harassment and abuse. Both Sheriff Howards actions and failures to act on these issues brought forward by Jacqueline Kretzmon further prove his unfitness to serve, and are yet another reason the residents of Erie County should fire Sheriff Howard in the upcoming election Tuesday, November 7.”
