Is Buffalo the best airport to fly out of?

We often say Buffalo has the best food, fans and fall weather, but I think it’s time to add the airport to that list.

I arrived to the airport two hours before my flight departed. Every other airport I have flown out of this amount of time made sense. I assumed that it would take me some time to check a bag and go through TSA, but boy was I wrong. I arrived at the airport, checked a bag and got through TSA (without pre-check) in less than eight minutes. If anyone at home is keeping track, that may be a world record if you ask me. If you are thinking I got there at some ungodly hour of the day you’d be wrong, it was 2 p.m. on a Friday.

There was a single person in front of me in the TSA line, and I didn’t have time to get my license out before I got to the TSA agent. Then Buffalo has these fancy new machines where I don’t need to take every item out of my bag to go through screening. I did have to take my shoes off (my fault for wearing high-top Converse).

Naturally, I now had 1 hour and 52 minutes to kill before my flight and found my way to one of the bars (The Blue Zone) scattered around the small terminal.

Prices were incredible as well for an airport bar; I didn’t have to sell my firstborn in order to have a couple of drinks. When I arrived the bar was completely empty and I didn’t have to fight tooth and nail to get an order in.

There are some different food options that non-western New Yorkers would enjoy as an intro to some Buffalo food. While the Anchor Bar is what it is, I loved the addition of Bocce Pizza. While Tim Hortons is always a pleasant sight to see while I’m home.

Unfortunately, a tornado over Philadelphia (which still doesn’t seem real) delayed my flight so I spent some more time at the Blue Zone. Thankfully though, my flight got off and I was on my way.

As I bobbed and weaved my way through other airports throughout my journey, I kept coming to the conclusion that there is no better airport than Buffalo’s. You can show up 30 minutes before your flight boards and still have time for a drink or even two.

Do you think Buffalo’s airport is the best? Comment below and let me know what you think.

JD Vance announces criminal referral against MN Gov. Tim Walz and AG Keith Ellison

Vice President JD Vance announced Monday night he forwarded a criminal referral to the Justice Department regarding fraud allegations against Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison.

Vance released a statement on social media, saying, "I've referred these allegations to DOJ's new Fraud Division for criminal investigation."

"Minnesota state officials are not above the law, and if they facilitated fraud, lied under oath about what they knew, or harassed and intimidated whistleblowers, they must face justice."

The referral represents Vance's first major action as President Donald Trump's appointed Fraud Czar, a position dedicated to targeting alleged fraud in blue states.

The move aligns with the Trump administration's priority of addressing fraudulent claims, a focus that intensified following MAGA influencer Nick Shirley's controversial and unsustained investigation into Somali daycares in Minnesota.
