Fall Fest is returning to the Buffalo Central Terminal on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, with a free community celebration featuring a trunk-or-treat, music, fall activities and treats, organizers said.
The event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at the terminal, 495 Paderewski Drive, and is presented in partnership with the Matt Urban Center. Families are encouraged to wear costumes and visit creatively decorated vehicles for trick-or-treating.
Trunk-or-treat participation
Community members, businesses, organizations and groups may register a vehicle to hand out candy. Advance registration is required for participating vehicles at https://bit.ly/TrunkOrTreat2026.
Organizers said they welcome volunteers, vehicle participants and candy donations to support the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood tradition. Individuals and organizations interested in supporting the event can contact the Matt Urban Center for more information.
Fall Fest is part of the Buffalo Central Terminal’s continued effort to activate the site as a gathering place for the Broadway-Fillmore community and families across Buffalo. The terminal’s free family-friendly community events are supported by the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, with additional backing from CSX, Fillmore District Council Member Mitch Nowakowski and Erie County.
