The Amherst Police Department says the Old Home Days parade in Williamsville will close Main Street between Youngs Road and Union Road on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
According to the traffic advisory, closures begin at 6 p.m. and the parade starts at 6:30 p.m.
Police are asking drivers to plan ahead, allow extra travel time and use alternate routes. The advisory also says motorists should expect increased pedestrian activity and use extra caution in the area.
Pedestrians are asked to cross only at intersections, marked crosswalks or the HAWK signal.
