Erie County Joins Tifft Nature Preserve for Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Accessible Trail

Deputy Erie County Executive Lisa Chimera joins leadership from the Buffalo Society of Natural Sciences at Tifft Nature Preserve for a ribbon cutting ceremony, opening a $2.15 million accessible trail.

The trail was created by modifying an existing half-mile loop at Tifft into a trail that is wheelchair, walker, and stroller friendly. The trail begins at the Herb and Jane Darling Environmental Education center and lead visitors through woods and around the Preserve’s Heritage Boardwalk to enjoy Tifft’s cattail marsh.
