D’Youville University says its flagship alumni magazine, D’Mensions, has won a 2026 CASE Circle of Excellence Gold Award in the Publications Improvement category.
The university announced the recognition in a July 9 news release, saying the award acknowledges the magazine’s recent redesign and editorial repositioning into a more modern publication focused on storytelling, elevated design and the university’s mission. The CASE competition attracted thousands of entries from hundreds of colleges and universities across more than 30 countries.
Britt Davis, D’Youville’s vice president for institutional advancement, said the redesign is meant to “inspire pride, deepen alumni engagement, and demonstrate the extraordinary impact our university is making every day.” The release also notes the judges praised the magazine’s transformation and its use of visuals to support storytelling.
D’Mensions is published three times a year and is mailed to alumni, donors and friends of D’Youville. Recent issues have included long-form features such as the story of 11 Ukrainian students who found refuge and graduated from D’Youville in May 2026.
