Planting trees with the M&T Green Team at Thomas F. Higgins Park


The Erie County Parks Department, in partnership with the M&T Bank Green Team, planted native trees in Thomas F. Higgins Park, a natural habitat park in South Buffalo.

This was the kick-off event of the Community Forestry Partnership Project. Erie County was awarded a $5.2 million U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service Urban & Community Forestry Grant.
